- The Vibe: Nostalgic, classic Wisconsin rock, and intimate.
- Why You Can’t Miss It: Kick off the very first weekend of June with Wisconsin's own! The legendary BoDeans are bringing their 40th Anniversary Tour to the historic Meyer Theatre. It’s the perfect excuse for a date night downtown—grab dinner on Washington Street first, then head over to sing along to "Closer to Free."

- When: Select weekend dates throughout June (including June 12 and June 27, 2026) | 7:00 PM
- Where: Resch Center

- Why You Can’t Miss It: If you're going through football withdrawal while waiting for Lambeau to fire back up, the Green Bay Blizzard have you covered. Indoor football is famously fast and incredibly high-energy. It's a fantastic, affordable night out to cheer on local sports with the whole family.
3. Local Music & Chill: Grooves on the Green

- Admission: Free!
- The Vibe: Relaxed, community-driven, perfect for a picnic blanket.
- Why You Can’t Miss It: There is nothing better than watching the sunset while listening to live, local tunes. Dust off your lawn chairs, pack a cooler, and head out to enjoy a beautiful Wisconsin evening supporting local musicians right in our neighborhood parks.
4. Splashtastic Fun: Resch Aquatic Center Summer Kick-Off

- Where: Resch Aquatic Center (1058 Reed Street)
- The Vibe: High-energy summer vibes, sunscreen, and canon-balls.
- Why You Can’t Miss It: The ultimate sign that summer has officially arrived! Hit the pool for the official Opening Day and Summer Kick-Off party. If you can't make it on Saturday, don't sweat it—Joannes Aquatic Center and Colburn Pool open for the season the very next day on Sunday, June 14.
- Bonus Tip: If you have younger kids, the city wading pools (including Astor, Marquette, and Mather Heights) open up earlier that week on Tuesday, June 9!
5. Taste the Region: Summer Farm Crawl Series
- When: Launches Sunday, June 7, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Where: Starts at Full Circle Community Farm (Just a short drive over in Seymour)
- The Vibe: Fresh, delicious, and community-minded.
- Why You Can’t Miss It: Hosted by the Lake to Bay Chapter of the Wisconsin Farmers Union, this series is the ultimate way to connect with where your food comes from. You can tour the organic farm, taste samples prepared by Sabee Culinary Services, and grab a "passport." If you hit three of the scheduled tours this summer, you'll be entered to win a $100 local co-op credit!
Tips for Surviving June Events Like a Pro:
- Hydrate Early: The June sun can get surprisingly intense. Bring a reusable water bottle if you're heading out to the parks or local trails before an event.
- Patio Season is Here: If you're heading to a concert at the Meyer or an event at the Resch, build in an extra hour to grab a drink on a downtown patio or check out the Live in the Garden summer concert series over at Badger State Brewing.
- Check the Wildlife Sanctuary: If you want a lower-key weekday activity to entertain out-of-town guests (or energetic kids), the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary runs free programs all month long—including wolf feedings, otter odysseys, and eagle talks!
